Jeremiah and Troy went to the Scouts overnight at the Avs game in March.

That's my boy, laying on the ice.

Happy to be a Scout and get to do all this cool stuff.

Cute pic the boys took.

 The group from Pack 186.

Jeremiah even got an autograph from the goalie.

Jeremiah came home and told me this was the best night of his life.  Troy came home exhausted but happy his boy had so much fun.  They stayed up running around the club level of the Pepsi Center until 5:00 and were woken up at 6:00 for breakfast.

I know this is one he won't soon forget.

Wildnights

The Girl Scouts chose to spend some of their cookie money on an overnight at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Ready for the trek up the hill.

Not bad being a little brother tagging along when you have a good friend who is also their.

Touring the zoo at night is pretty night.

 A little pre bed yoga.

Poor Lexi was sick well into the evening but she toughed it out.

We were up in time to see the sunrise.

My little man and I

I sure am lucky to get to go on these adventures with this great group of girls.

Feeding the giraffes was by far the coolest part.

Happy St. Patty's Day

The kids set a leprechaun trap but that sneaky little guy came, took all the candy and gold, made a mess in their rooms, put toilet paper all over the house, left green foot prints in the bathroom and peed in the toilet but got away.

I guess we will try again next year.

Happy 100th Anniversary Girl Scouts

March 12, 2012 was Girl Scouts 100th anniversary.

We worked with an older troop to welcome a baby girl who was born on the anniversary.

 Troop 3821 girls ROCK!

This family welcomed all 20 of us into meet this little girl only a few hours old.
We gave her a large gift basket of items the girls had picked out, we did the Girl Scout Promise and we sang "Make New Friends".
It was a special day!

Our large friendship circle at the hospital.

We then went over to the Summit County Animal Shelter and donated the $175.00 the girls had collected during cookie sells.
